Directed by Arne Glimcher and based on the novel by John Katzenbach, the film follows Harvard Law School professor Paul Armstrong (Connery) as he reopens a murder investigation in the Florida Everglades on behalf of a Death Row inmate (Underwood) who claims he was coerced into a confession by a ruthless local lawman (Fishburne).

Distributed on LaserDisc by Warner Home Video (Catalog # 13623), this Extended Play edition features a digitally processed stereo soundtrack and is presented in a letterbox widescreen transfer maintaining its original 2.35:1 theatrical aspect ratio.
