1996 Upper Deck SPx Baseball Cards Hobby Box (36 Packs)

This 1996 SPx set (produced by Upper Deck) was issued in one series totalling 60 cards. Printed on 32 pt. card stock with Holoview technology and a perimeter diecut design, the set features color player photos with a Holography background on the fronts and decorative foil stamping on the back. Two special cards are included in the set: a Ken Griffey Jr. Commemorative card was inserted one in every 75 packs and a Mike Piazza Tribute card inserted one in every 95 packs. An autographed version of each of these cards was inserted at the rate of one in 2,000.
