1976 Canada Cup of Hockey – The Official History. A fantastic piece of vintage Canadian hockey memorabilia documenting the historic 1976 Canada Cup, the first edition of the legendary international hockey tournament.

This 160-page hardcover book combines extensive colour photography with tournament history, game summaries, statistics and profiles of the six participating countries: Canada, Czechoslovakia, Finland, Sweden, the Soviet Union and the United States. 

The book covers the development of international hockey as well as important events leading up to the tournament, including the 1972 Summit Series, 1974 Summit Series and 1976 NHL-Soviet exhibitions. It then follows the Canada Cup through the tournament games and playoffs.

The 1976 tournament featured an incredible generation of hockey stars, with Bobby Orr starring for Team Canada and Darryl Sittler scoring the tournament-winning overtime goal against Czechoslovakia. This original-era publication makes an excellent collectible for fans of Team Canada, international hockey, Bobby Orr and vintage NHL memorabilia.
